Mr Dincer Aktuerk

In the city of London, at St. Bartholomew's Hospital NHS Trust, Mr. Dincer Aktuerk practices as a consultant cardiothoracic surgeon. After completing his surgical training in the UK, Mr. Aktuerk earned his degree from the University of Munich (TU), Germany, in 2006. In 2016, he was admitted to the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Following a fellowship in heart failure and transplant surgery completed in Sydney, Australia, Mr. Dincer Aktuerk underwent specialized transcatheter training in London and minimally invasive and robotic cardiac surgery training at Robert-Bosch Hospital in Stuttgart, Germany. He oversees St. Bartholomew's Hospital's minimally invasive mitral surgery program and provides a variety of surgical procedures. The Society of Cardiothoracic Surgery in Great Britain and Ireland (SCTS) gave Mr. Aktuerk the Consultant team grant to help with education and training in minimally invasive surgery.
