BIOGRAPHY

At The Portland Hospital's Children's Orthopaedic practice, Mr. Gregory Firth practices as a consultant orthopedic surgeon. Along with Miss Sarah McMahon and Mr. Jonathan Wright, he is an orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in treating children with trauma-related injuries and elective diseases. He has more than ten years of expertise treating pediatric orthopaedic conditions. After receiving his basic medical degree from the University of Witwatersrand in 2008, Mr. Firth underwent a year of paediatric unit training at the Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital in South Africa. After that, Mr. Firth completed two graduate fellowships, the first at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario and the second at the prestigious Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne, both under the direction of Professor Kerr Graham. Using 3D gait analysis technologies, Mr. Firth got expertise working with instances of paediatric cerebral palsy during his second fellowship. Before traveling to the UK, he then went back to Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital.
