Mr Tarek Ezzat Abdel-Aziz

Tarek is one of the UK's top thyroid surgeons for both malignant and benign disease, according to data from the British Association of Endocrine and Thyroid Surgeons (BAETS) published in 2019. In 2001, Tarek received his medical school diploma. He was admitted into a very selective general surgery residency program after graduating with honors in both surgical and medical specialties. In the Masters of Surgery program, he received the highest grade in his group. He graduated from University College London with an MD. His study focused on stem cells and organ regeneration. He accepted a prominent endocrine surgery fellowship at Oxford University Hospitals after defending his thesis successfully. He has received thorough training in the whole gamut of endocrine surgical procedures, including thyroid cancer, parathyroid, and adrenal operations, both at University College London Hospital and in Oxford. He performs laparoscopic cholecystectomies and all types of hernia repairs as part of his general surgical practice.
