Prof.Dr. Art Hiranyakas

Academic colorectal surgeon Dr. Hiranyakas has extensive experience. After passing the general surgery board examination in 2002, he was hired as a surgery instructor at Prince of Songkla University (PSU), Songkhla, Thailand. Dr. Hiranyakas worked as a professor at the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology and was active in both undergraduate and graduate medical teaching. A wide range of colorectal procedures for cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, benign colorectal conditions, sphincter-saving operations, re-operative abdominopelvic surgery, and functional colorectal conditions like constipation, and incontinence, have been performed during his unique overseas training experiences involving over 900 colorectal surgery cases. Additionally skilled in endoanal and endorectal ultrasonography, he has training in functional anorectal work.
