Dr Yap Kok Hooi

Associate Consultant at the National Heart Centre Singapore (NHCS) and KK Women's and Children's Hospital, Dr. Yap Kok Hooi specialises in cardiothoracic surgery (KKH). He earned his medical degree from Dundee Medical School in the UK in 2009, and he then finished his foundation year and core surgical training there. He subsequently enrolled in the National Heart Centre of Singapore's Cardiothoracic Surgical Residency Training Program. Along with his professional career, he successfully completed an MSc at Cardiff University in the UK and has published a large number of academic works. Dr. Yap is particularly interested in congenital heart surgery and cardiothoracic surgical research.
