Mr Ben Eddy

One of the most skilled robotic prostatologists in the UK, Mr. Ben Eddy has performed over 1400 robotic radical prostatectomy procedures. After completing an international robotic fellowship in Australia in 2008, he established Kent's first robotic surgical program. He has taught several UK consultants in robotic surgery and has started his own fellowship program. He is a national trainer in the field. On his personal results in robotic surgery, he has extensively presented and published. Mr. Eddy also has a ton of experience with prostate diagnostics, PSA testing, MRI imaging, and targeted prostate biopsies. Through a multidisciplinary team approach, he collaborates closely with his colleagues in oncology and specialty nursing. For various urological diseases, Mr. Eddy also offers consultations. Guy and St. Thomas Medical School in London awarded Mr. Eddy a degree in 1996. He received his medical training in the best hospitals in the London area as a junior doctor and then as a specialist registrar. His intensive training in laparoscopic surgery for renal cancer and robotic surgery for prostate cancer began when he began an international robotic surgical fellowship in Australia in 2008. With a focus on minimally invasive procedures, he has developed a specialty interest in uro-oncology.
