ORBIT AND OCULOPLASTY-Ptosis Surgery with Sling Surgery
The frontalis sling operation transfers the frontalis muscle's raising function to the ptotic eyelid. This can be accomplished by securing the eyelid to the brow using a sling made from the frontalis muscle. The sling can be made out of the fascia lata, or deep fascia of the thigh.

Disease Overview:
Pseudoptosis
The eyelid seems to be lowered in pseudoptosis, although there is no disease of the eyelid muscles or aponeurosis. Dermatochalasis, or superfluous eyelid skin that droops beyond the eyelid edge and gives the illusion of ptosis, is a common cause of pseudoptosis.
Disease Causes:
Some congenital ocular abnormalities, such as anophthalmia and microphthalmia, are associated with a lack of physical support for the eyelids as a result of a faulty ocular globe. Pseudoptosis can also be caused by dermatochalasis (redundant eyelid skin).
Disease Diagnosis:
When one eye bulges (proptosis) or the lids retrace owing to thyroid eye illness, the diagnosis of potential ptosis in the contralateral eye is made when it is really pseudoptosis. Similarly, pseudoptosis can occur in an eye with hypotropia.
Disease Treatment:
