BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Henry Ahn is an orthopaedic surgeon and an Associate Scientist at St. Michael's Hospital's Li Ka Shing Knowledge Center. He earned his Doctorate in Clinical Epidemiology from the University of Toronto's Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation (IHPME). His clinical work focuses on the treatment of polytrauma patients who have suffered substantial spinal cord injuries, orthopaedic injuries, and complex adult spinal disorders. Dr. Ahn is a Lead Investigator of the Rick Hansen Registry and a member of the University of Toronto Spine Center. His areas of interest include huge databases, prospective cohort studies, randomised control trials, and the therapy of spinal cord injury as well as the epidemiology of spinal cord injury.
