BIOGRAPHY

In the University of Toronto's Department of Surgery, Division of Urology, Dr. Farcas holds the positions of Assistant Professor and Surgeon-Investigator. She is a surgeon who subspecializes in endourology, robotic surgery, laparoscopic surgery, and renal transplantation at St. Michael's Hospital. Dr. Farcas earned her MD and urology residency training at the University of Toronto after earning her master's degree in engineering from McGill University. After that, she finished a two-year clinical residency with the Endourological Society at St. Michael's Hospital. Her areas of interest in research include surgical innovation, the creation of surgical devices, and surgical simulation.
