Mr Darren Lui

Darren Lui obtained his medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2001 before pursuing a Master's in laboratory science. His course covered the potential and use of insulin as an anti-inflammatory medication. Darren Lui has experience working as a spinal fellow in hospitals in Hong Kong, Ireland, and England. He has received fellowship training in deformity & complex spinal surgery. After leaving the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital to work as a consultant in 2016, he joined the St. George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in London. Darren Lui has supervised two Master of Science degrees in Science and has over 100 podium speeches, 25 peer-reviewed papers, and more to his credit. He is actively engaged in multicenter research, NIHR funded programs like WHIST, COPET, ApiFix EOS, and MELODY, and has a particular interest in the disciplines of trauma and orthopaedics as well as spinal surgery.
