OP. DOCTOR SERKAN ATASOY

OP. DOCTOR SERKAN ATASOY is a neurology sergeant with a degree from the faculty of medicine at Gazi University. He subsequently began working as a brain and neurosurgery assistant at the neurosurgery clinic of the Gazi University Medical Faculty Hospital. He worked there for 2.5 years before continuing his career in the neurosurgery clinic of the Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital, where he attained the status of specialist in 2007. Prior to specialising, he spent two months as an observer at the paediatric neurosurgery clinic at Hacettepe University's Faculty of Medicine. He completed his military duty as a second lieutenant doctor by spending around a year in the Ankara GATA Brain and Nerve Surgery Clinic following specialisation. He served his required time at Sinop and stayed there for six years. Degenerative scoliosis, scoliosis, spinal fractures, nerve compression, surgery for spine and brain tumours, nerve injuries, pain management, aneurysm, and AVM (arteriovenous melformen) embolization are among his areas of competence (treatment with non-surgical incisional angiography).
