ORBIT AND OCULOPLASTY-DCR (Dacryo Cysto Rhinostomy) Surgery:
A dacryocystorhinostomy (DCR) is a procedure that establishes a new drainage channel for tears between your eyes and nose. If your tear duct becomes blocked, surgery may be required.
One of the most common oculoplastic surgeries is dacryocystorhinostomy, or DCR.
Recovery: Watery eyes are common following surgery for a few weeks until the swelling and inflammation subsides and the tubes are removed. Swelling and bruising can affect the eyes, nose, and cheeks, and is more common on the second and third days. The bruising may take two to three weeks to heal entirely.

Persistent NLDO (Nasolacrimal duct obstruction):
Tear Duct Blocked (Nasolacrimal Duct Obstruction) When your nasal passageways can't properly drain tear liquid from your eyes, you have a clogged tear duct. Itchy, irritated, or watery eyes are possible symptoms. Babies are sometimes born with clogged tear ducts.
