REFRACTIVE SURGICAL PROCEDURE-femto-LASIK:

FemtoLASIK (femtosecond aided laser in-situ keratomileusis) is a type of LASIK that uses a laser to repair vision abnormalities such nearsightedness (myopia), hyperopia (hyperopia), and astigmatism. The corneal flap preparation is the fundamental difference between regular LASIK and Femto-LASIK. The flap is cut by a microkeratome (tiny cutting blade) in LASIK, while the flap is cut with a femtosecond laser in Femto-LASIK (a bladeless technology).

The Lasik treatment is now even safer; the flaps are much thinner, and there are far fewer risks of complications during the procedure. Disease Causes:

Using conventional eye exams, your eye care professional can diagnose myopia. Myopia is most commonly diagnosed in children, however it can also occur in adults due to visual stress or diabetes. Disease Treatment:
