Package Description
Superficial Parotidectomy
A partial superficial parotidectomy includes removing just the section of the gland surrounding a tumour or mass, whereas a superficial (or lateral) parotidectomy entails removing all of the gland superficial to the facial nerve.
The main trunk of the facial nerve is identified, and only the branch or branches of the nerve closest to the tumour are dissected in a partial superficial parotidectomy. The parotid tissue surrounding the tumour is the only part of the body that is removed.

Benign salivary gland tumor
Salivary gland tumours are mostly benign, meaning they aren't cancerous. They don't usually invade or metastasis into nearby tissues, although they can continue to develop and distort.

Disease Signs and Symptoms:

Disease Causes:
