The Jewish General Hospital's Associate Physician-in-Chief of Medicine and Chief of the Division of Nephrology is Dr. Mark L. Lipman. He is a project director at the Lady Davis Center for Medical Research and an associate professor in the McGill University School of Medicine. Dr. Lipman oversees a wide range of clinical research projects that are concerned with the disruptions of the vascular-bone axis and the negative effects that accrue in patients with chronic renal disease. In the areas of metabolic bone disease and vascular calcification in patients with chronic renal disease, Dr. Lipman oversees a number of clinical research studies.
