Dr. Ala Eldin Farasin

German board certified consultant interventional cardiologist Dr. Ala Eldin Farasin. He received his medical training at the University of Heidelberg in Germany, where he also passed the German boards for internal medicine and cardiology. He has received in-depth training in advanced interventional cardiology, as well as CRT and pacemaker therapy for ICDs and technical certifications in rescue service, echocardiography, and radiation protection training. His prior experience includes serving as the Section Leader of Invasive Cardiology at Mannheim, Germany's Diakonissenkrankenhaus-Deaconess Hospital. His primary areas of expertise are the management of the cardiac catheterization laboratory, the execution of interventions for structural heart diseases and interventions for coronary diseases using techniques like PTA, Stenting, pacemaker, and ICD therapy, as well as angiology and emergency care for heart stroke patients. In addition to having extensive experience in valvuloplasty, PFO, and LAA occlusion, he has performed more than 6000 coronary interventions. He has extensive experience in intensive care and specialised skills in interventional angiology. He has performed 1000 interventional angiology procedures, including illiacal, femoral, renal, and carotid stenting, using cutting-edge techniques. Additionally, he has extensive experience managing diabetic patients and performing below-the-knee interventions. His specialties include emergency care for heart stroke patients as well as interventional cardiology, angiology, ICD, pacemaker implants, and other related fields.
