Albert Cheskes

In 1961, Dr. Cheskes received his medical degree from the University of Toronto. He received his ophthalmology residency training at the Mayo Clinic from 1963 to 1966. While conducting corneal research at the University of Minnesota, he also earned a Master of Science degree. Dr. Cheskes is an active employee at St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto, an assistant professor of ophthalmology at the University of Toronto, and the former Chief of Ophthalmology at Centenary Health Center. He also practises ophthalmology at Sunnybrook Hospital and Scarborough General Hospital. He has long been an advocate for public safety in ophthalmology and served as Chairman of the Canadian Ophthalmology Association's Eye Safety Committee.
