Fatimah Gilani

Ophthalmologist Dr. Fatimah Gilani is board-certified in both Canada and the US. She has a diversified background and an international viewpoint due to her education on three different continents. In Ireland at the Royal College of Surgeons, Dr. Gilani started her career as a surgeon. In Springfield, Massachusetts, at the Baystate Medical Center, a hospital connected to Tufts University, she finished her medical internship. She finished her ophthalmology residency at the University of Arizona, then pursued a medical retina fellowship at Northwell-Long Island Jewish Hospital and the Vitreous Retina Consultants of New York under the guidance of renowned retina specialists Drs. Gaetano Barile, William Schiff, K Bailey Freund, and Lawrence Yannuzzi.
