Dr. Subodh Pande is a radiation oncologist with a wealth of clinical and academic expertise. He worked at the Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai after receiving his MD in radiotherapy from the AIIMS in New Delhi in 1977. He was instrumental in the establishment of the hospital's neurooncology and paediatric oncology departments. In 1997, he relocated to the Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals in New Delhi, where he assisted in the development of a contemporary radiation oncology department and the renovation of its stereotactic radiotherapy facilities. In 2005, he was named Director Medical Services of the Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital and Research Centre in Jaipur, where he played a key role in the commissioning of the hospital's first linear accelerator, which was also a first for the state of Rajasthan.Dr. Pande is particularly interested in the application of Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT) and PET scan-based cancer treatment approaches.
