Dr. Ahmed T. A. Gabroun

Specialist in cardiology Dr. Ahmed T. A. Gabroun began his career in 1994 after earning his medical degree from Tripoli Medical University in Libya. He received his membership from the Scottish and British Royal College of Physicians. In 2008, he earned a certificate and a diploma in health care management. His other degree is an SMBA in Business and Management from the Metropolitan School of London. He has been a member and fellow of the American Heart Association since 2003 and a professional associate since 2010, and he serves as the Middle East region's faculty member. He serves as the faculty physician for the cardiology department's final year at Dubai Medical College. He teaches at MBRU as an Associate Professor. His accomplishments include cardiac rehabilitation programmes and echo-online initiatives that helped the department at Rashid Hospital improve its standard of care. His areas of expertise include preventive cardiology, ischemic heart disease, hypertension management, and cardiac non-invasive diagnostic procedures. Dr. Gabroun has a background in research and teaching, and he has presented his work at national and international meetings and in peer-reviewed journals. His interests also include health care accreditation and quality management.
