Moutaz El Kadri Dr.

In 1996, Dr. El Kadri graduated from the University of Aleppo, Syria, with a medical degree. In the United Arab Emirates, Dr. El Kadri held positions as a senior cardiac electrophysiologist, director of the electrophysiology service, and director of cardiovascular research at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC) and Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC). He has a Ph.D. in cellular electrophysiology from the University of Liverpool and a master's degree in cardiology from the University of Brighton, both earned in 2002. (2008). Dr. El Kadri is passionate in both education and research. He is currently an adjunct associate professor at Khalifa University in Abu Dhabi and served as a core member of the faculty for the SSMC programme that was accredited by the ACGME-I for its cardiology fellowship programme. His present research focuses on population-level and translational cardiac research, with numerous national and international collaborations and publications in top medical journals. Locally and internationally, Dr. El Kadri frequently gives lectures on subjects pertaining to heart rhythm. In addition, he reviews articles for a number of prestigious scientific journals and serves on question writing panels for numerous international tests, including the IBHRE and MRCP. He is a skilled electrophysiologist with almost 2000 heart rhythm procedures under his belt. His areas of expertise include mapping and ablation of complex atrial and ventricular arrhythmias, complex cardiac device management, lead extractions, interventional biventricular pacing techniques and left atrial appendage closure devices.
