BIOGRAPHY
In 2015, Dr. Amin Andalib accepted a position as an Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Division of General Surgery at McGill University. His clinical practise is primarily focused on bariatric surgery and the treatment of obesity. In addition, he oversees the clinical teaching unit for general surgery at the Montreal General Hospital and the programme for the fellowship in bariatric surgery.
His primary areas of interest in research are patient safety, quality improvement, and clinical outcomes in bariatric surgery. After bariatric surgery, they include risk reduction and outcome assessment, particularly when utilising sizable databases. At McGill University, Dr. Andalib finished both his general surgery residency and his MSc in epidemiology.
