Dr. Antonio Finelli

Dr. Tony Finelli is a full professor at the University of Toronto as well as an investigator and urologic oncologist at the University Health Network (UHN) in Toronto. He is the Princess Margaret Cancer Center's GU Site Lead, Chief of Urology, and Ontario's first-ever GU Oncology Lead (Cancer Care Ontario). Dr. Finelli performs urologic oncology health services research with the goal of identifying treatment gaps and developing knowledge translation strategies to close them. Also, he actively participates in clinical trials. He has received peer-reviewed funding for research on prostate and kidney cancer and has produced more than 100 peer-reviewed articles. The therapy of urologic cancers with minimally invasive and robotic procedures is the main emphasis of Dr. Finelli's clinical practise. For educational purposes, he has carried out real surgery in more than ten different nations. With his contributions to minimally invasive urologic oncology, Dr. Finelli has received both national and international recognition.
