Dr Dominic Mort

Since 2013, Dr. Mort has been working in private practice full-time. He has been a consultant neurologist since 2007. His expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of adult neurological disorders is broad.His constant goal is to help patients comprehend what is wrong with them and how it might be treated. After studying medicine at Oxford University and the Medical College of St. Bartholomew's Hospital, he earned his medical degree with honors in 1993. He received the CC Frears in Clinical Neurology at Bart's and completed his elective rotation at the Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins Hospital's Department of Neurology. As a young physician, he practiced in all the major acute medical specialties at teaching hospitals throughout London. He had specialist training in clinical neurology at four regional neuroscience facilities, including The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square, after finishing his doctoral thesis study at Imperial College. He has a keen interest in teaching medical students, and over the years, he has won several prizes for his lectures and ward-based instruction of medical professionals.
