Dr Gopal Ramakrishnan

40 years of extensive experience in the field of medical oncology belong to Dr. Gopal Ramakrishnan. Graduated from the esteemed University of Mumbai, Dr. Gopal Ramakrishnan. For many years, Dr. Gopal held the positions of Professor and Head of the Medical Oncology Department at the Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai. Dr. Gopal has extensive experience in bone marrow transplantation and has held positions at the Fred Rutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, the Imperial Cancer Research Fund in London, the University of Southern California's clinical laboratories in Los Angeles, and the University of Minnesota School of Medicine's bone marrow transplant programme in Minneapolis. The work "Dual Receptors in Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia's" by Dr. Gopal won the best paper prize at the Bombay Haematology Group's 5th Annual Conference. The treatment of lymphoblastic leukaemia and bone marrow transplant are two areas in which Dr. Ramakrishnan has a particular interest.
