Dr Julian Collinson

Consultant cardiologist Dr. Julian Collinson works at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. Additionally, he provides private patient care at the Royal Brompton Hospital, where he serves as clinical director for medical specialties, as well as Cromwell Hospital, located at 77 Wimpole Street. Dr. Collinson specializes in coronary artery disease and is an expert in all facets of general cardiology, including interventional cardiology and the implantation of devices like pacemakers and defibrillators. Before finishing his medical training in Manchester, Dr. Collinson earned his degree from King's College London in 1992. Later, at the Royal Brompton and Harefield NHS Foundation Trust, he became a specialist in cardiology. His research at Imperial College London, where he received his medical degree, concentrated on the epidemiology and treatment of acute coronary syndromes. Dr. Collinson is still engaged in research and is particularly interested in valvular disease and heart failure. He has contributed to writings on angina and heart failure in addition to having work published in peer-reviewed journals.
