Dr. Meera Luthra

Dr. Meera Luthra is an internationally recognised paediatric surgeon. She received her basic surgical training at Christian Medical College in Ludhiana and her super speciality paediatric surgery training at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi (AIIMS). A clinical fellowship at the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne, Australia, followed. Laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgery, as well as thoracoscopy, are two of her primary interests. She has performed a number of difficult procedures on youngsters. In a text book on Paediatric Intensive Care, she wrote chapters on Paediatric Bronchoscopy and Trauma. In 2008, she organised a workshop on Paediatric Bronchoscopy and the 3rd PESI (Paediatric Endoscopic Surgeons of India) meeting at Max Hospital in Saket, New Delhi. She has published papers in peer-reviewed publications on a national and international level. Dr. Meera Luthra is a certified instructor of the PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) course and has been teaching the PALS trauma course for the past ten years. She is also the PALS instructor for Medanta, The Medicity for the past three years and a BLS trainer.
