Dr. P. N. Renjen is a Neurologist with extensive training and experience. He received his MBBS from Gandhi Medical College in Hyderabad and his DM in Neurology from Bangalore's National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences. He also has his F.I.M.S.A from the International Medical Sciences Academy, F.A.C.A from the American College of Angiology, F.I.A.N from the Indian Academy of Neurology, M.N.A.M.S from the National Academy of Medical Sciences in Delhi, and F.R.C.P from the Royal College of Surgeons in the United Kingdom. He is a member of a number of prestigious neurology academies, organisations, and societies in India, the United Kingdom, and the United States. He has won several accolades in the profession and has a huge number of books under his belt from a variety of publishers.He has also contributed to a number of works as an author or co-author. He has attended various Neuroscience conferences and CME programmes. He is frequently invited to give talks at updates, seminars, and workshops held around the country. Cerebrovascular Diseases, Stroke (Thrombolytic Therapy), Botox Therapy for Post-Stroke Spasticity, Surgical Epilepsy, DBS (Deep Brain Stimulation), and Headache are his areas of expertise. He also offers Neuro-Rehab for Post-Traumatic Brain and Spinal Injuries. He formerly worked in New Delhi's Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Central Research Institute of Ayurveda, and Shri Ram Clinic. He currently works as a Senior Consultant Neurologist at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital in New Delhi and operates his own clinic in R.K.Puram.He generally focuses on early intervention to prevent strokes from becoming fatal.
