Dr. Pankaj Maheshwari

He received a Traveling Fellowship from the Societe Internationale de Urologie in 1999-2000, which he used to train in Holmium laser in urology in New Zealand and New York. He was a pioneer in the use of Holmium laser in urology in India. In late 1998, he began conducting holmium laser enucleation of the prostate for the treatment of Benign Enlargement of the Prostate. One of the first people in India to do therapeutic flexible ureteroscopy. It all started in 1999. He has 50 national and international articles, eight of which are cited in Campbell's Urology textbook. Dr. Maheshwari performed a few uncommon surgical operations for the first time in India. PCNL with laparoscopy for big calculi in the pelvic kidney (3 cases). He developed a new approach for placing a CAPD catheter laparoscopically after repairing a spontaneous bladder hole. CAPD catheter problems are considerably reduced as a result of this. (more than 100 instances)
