Dr. Pradip Chakraborty

Laparoscopic nephrectomies are performed by Dr. Chakrabarti, a skilled surgeon who specialises in kidney and pancreas transplants. He also has a great deal of experience with guided allograft biopsies, organ procurement, preservation and management of rejection, post-transplant diseases, and dialysis access procedures. At Prince Charles Hospital in Wales, he finished his general surgery residency after receiving his medical degree from the University of Calcutta. He was then recognised as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons. He joined the University of Pittsburgh faculty as an attending surgeon and instructor in renal/pancreas transplantation after completing a fellowship in the procedure there.
