Dr Rohit Lamba

Dr. Rohit Lamba is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with a special interest in joint preservation and the salvage of failed or diseased joint replacements. He received his training at the prestigious Christian Medical College and Hospital in Ludhiana, which is North India's main referral centre. Following his Masters in Orthopaedics, he completed his senior residency in Delhi Government hospitals with the highest volume of trauma cases, honing his abilities in the process. He became interested in arthroscopic operations for the knee and shoulder, sports injuries, and complicated joint replacements for the hips and knees.Every month, he performed over 100 joint replacement surgeries of different complexity, providing him a wealth of knowledge in the field. He has spent the last five years learning the intricacies of computer-assisted hip and knee replacements using the Stryker NAV-3 computer navigation system. He has developed an advanced practise of high-end orthopaedic surgery based on his extensive expertise of more than 6000 joint replacements and 3000 arthroscopic treatments. He received his training at the world-famous Helios Endoklinik, which is the world's busiest joint replacement centre, doing over 8000 procedures each year. He has received specialised training in the single-stage revision of contaminated joint replacements.He also completed a fellowship at Mumbai's renowned Laud Clinic, where joint replacements were first performed in India. He continues to improve his abilities and knowledge in order to provide the best possible care to his patients while being humble.
