Dr. Sushil Sharma

Dr. Sushil Sharma is a highly skilled orthopaedic and joint replacement surgeon who has worked in a variety of national and international institutions over the past 37 years. His experience with primary, primary complex, and revision hip and knee joint replacements is extensive. He also does joint replacement surgery on the elbow and shoulder. At many national and international seminars and conferences, he has presented his studies on osteoporosis, arthritis, and joint replacement. He wrote the book "Defeat Osteoporosis." He has made a significant contribution to public awareness and science in the field of bone and joint disease as the chairman of the Arthritis Foundation of India Trust (non-profit NGO). He has received the Roche GSK Award in Istanbul, Turkey (2005), as well as the Linda Edwards Memorial Award in Beijing, China (2009). At the moment, he works as a Senior Orthopaedic and Joint Replacement Surgeon at Kailash Super Specialty Hospital in Noida and R. K. Orthopaedic Hospital in Patparganj, Delhi. He also works as a courtesy Sr. Consultant (without an OPD) at Tirath Ram Shah Hospital in Civil Lines. He belongs to the Indian Orthopaedic Association, the Indian Arthoplasty Association, the Indian Medical Council, and the International Osteoporosis Foundation as a life member.
