Dr. SV Kotwal

Dr. S. V. Kotwal has significant expertise in all aspects of urology and has completed one of the biggest personal series of PCNL (almost 4000) and 300 renal transplants in North India. He was the first in the Armed Forces to do microsurgery, and he has extensive experience in Uro-Oncology and Paediatric Urology. He has received international appreciation for his efforts in endo-urology and vascular reconstructions. He's conducted a number of difficult genito-urinary reconstructive procedures, including the recent'sex change' or'sex reassignment' surgery. He has led practical workshops around the country and has attended regional, national, and worldwide professional conferences.Dr. Kotwal is a certified postgraduate instructor for the University of Pune's MS (General Surgery) and M.Ch (Urology) degrees, as well as the Delhi University's MS degree. He is a National Board of Examinations examiner and inspector, as well as a visiting professor of urology at CMC, Ludhiana, and Guwahati Medical College.
