Dr. Varindra Paul Singh

Dr. V. P. Singh's expertise includes all aspects of neurosurgery, including cranial, spinal, and peripheral nerves, and he has over 34 years of experience. Dr. Singh is interested in brain tumour surgery, cerebrovascular surgery, epilepsy surgery, and radiosurgery in particular. He has operated on over 400 intracranial aneurysms and is interested in the radiosurgery treatment of arteriovenous malformations. Dr. VP Singh is recognised for establishing the Gamma Knife Unit and the epilepsy surgery programme at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, where he was also an Additional Professor and Unit Head of Neurosurgery. Along with colleague and mentor Prof. A. K. Banerji, he worked at VIMHANS in New Delhi. Dr. Singh and Prof. Banerji joined Apollo Hospital in New Delhi in 2007.Dr. V. P. Singh was a Senior Consultant Neurosurgeon at Apollo.
