Dr. Vijaya Mohan S

Dr. Vijay Mohan specialises in Hip and Knee Replacement Surgery and has over 16 years of experience in Joint Reconstruction. He has received advanced robotic orthopaedic training in Europe, Thailand, and India. His research interests include arthroscopy and complex lower limb trauma. He received his Fellowship in Arthroplasty at the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) in Kochi, where he also worked as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and Associate Professor. He is a well regarded primary and revision joint replacement surgeon with expertise in computer navigation and patient-specific knee replacement. He graduated from Government Medical College in Thiruvananthapuram with a Diplomate of the National Board (DNB) in Orthopaedics, a Diploma in Orthopaedics (D Ortho), and an MBBS degree. Before joining the Centre of Excellence in Orthopaedics at Aster Medcity, he worked at Lourdes Hospital and Government Medical College in Kochi, Bishop Benziger Hospital in Kollam, and the Regional Cancer Centre in Thiruvananthapuram. Dr. Vijaya, an Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) practitioner, is an enthusiastic trainer of arthroplasty and arthroscopy abilities. He has been invited to present and demonstrate live surgery at several national and international conferences as a member of the faculty.
