BIOGRAPHY
Dr Vikram was admitted to Byramjee Jeejeebhoy Medical College [B J Medical College] in Ahmedabad after a stellar academic performance in high school. The college was started in 1871 as Ahmedabad Medical School. He opted to pursue postgraduate training in joint replacement surgery after earning his master's degree in orthopaedic surgery in 1989. From 1990 to 1992, he worked and trained in Ormskirk & Wrightington Hospital in the United Kingdom with Mr A G Hayes and Mr T U Menon. Later, he had significant instruction in both Switzerland and Germany.
