BIOGRAPHY

A pioneer in the discipline of paediatric neurosurgery, Dr. Farmer is a professor in the McGill departments of paediatric surgery, neurology and neurosurgery, surgery, and oncology. He received his MDCM and BSc (Hons Neurophysiology) from McGill University, where he also trained in neurosurgery and won the Penfield/McNaughton Prize. He then pursued a fellowship in paediatric neurosurgery at the New York University Medical Center.
