Mr R. Lloyd Williams

Mr. R. Lloyd Williams joined the University College London Hospitals NHS Trust as a consultant orthopaedic surgeon in 1997. He specializes in foot and ankle disorders and served as the Saracens RFC's consultant orthopaedic surgeon from 1997 to 2001. He has research publications in his area of specialization published in the American and European medical literature and is a Fellow of the British, Irish, European, and American Foot and Ankle Societies. From 1999 to 2007, he served as the convener of the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital's foot and ankle surgery course. He also served as a faculty member for a number of national and international foot and ankle surgery teaching seminars. He has been in full-time private practice since 2004, and his areas of expertise include arthritis treatment and forefoot restoration for hallux valgus (bunions).Additionally, he performs Minimally Invasive Foot and Ankle Surgery (MIS), a brand-new and ground-breaking technique utilized to treat a variety of common foot ailments. He has a wealth of experience treating foot and ankle conditions in both professional and recreational athletes, including football, rugby union, and league players.
