Prof Dr. Lee Soo Chin

Prof. Lee graduated from the National University of Singapore and the Royal College of Physicians in the United Kingdom with medical degrees, and she also did a residency in cancer genetics at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in the United States. She presently holds the positions of Senior Principal Investigator at the Cancer Science Institute, Singapore, Associate Director of Research at NCIS, Head and Senior Consultant in the Department of Haematology-Oncology, and Head of the department. She served as the former chair of the Academy of Medicine in Singapore's Chapter of Medical Oncologists, and since 2009, she has served on the Ministry of Health's Specialist Accreditation Board for Medical Oncology. Since 2008, she has served as Chair of Domain-Specific Ethics Review Board B of the National Healthcare Group. She also serves on the Drug Advisory Committee for Oncology Drugs for the Singapore Ministry of Health. She has almost 150 peer-reviewed publications in prestigious oncology and pharmacogenetics journals, including Cancer, Oncology, Lancet Oncology, JAMA Oncology, Journal of Clinical Oncology, Annals of Oncology, British Journal of Cancer, Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics, Pharmacogenetics and Genomics, Breast Cancer Research and Treatment, New England Journal of Medicine, among others. She received the Singapore National Medical Research Council Senior Clinician Scientist Award in 2009 and again She has evaluated articles for numerous international journals, including Annals of Oncology, Cancer Chemotherapy and Pharmacology, British Journal of Cancer, Pharmacogenetics and Genomics, Personalized Medicine, and Gut.
