Professor John Deanfield

Working at University College London, Professor John Deanfield is interested in pediatric cardiology with an emphasis on endothelial function and congenital heart disease. After earning his degree from the University of Cambridge in 1975, he underwent clinical training at the Middlesex Hospital in London and postgraduate studies in pediatric and adult cardiology at Great Ormond Street Hospital. He has over 34 years of consulting expertise and was hired as a consultant in 1984. He is an American College of Cardiology, European Society of Cardiology, and Royal College of Physicians Fellow.
