Sheraz Daya, a consultant eye surgeon of international acclaim, founded the Centre for Sight in 1996 with the goal of offering patients the UK's best eye treatment, exceeding all expectations for patients' results, and giving them fantastic outcomes. With patient safety as our top priority, we have introduced cutting-edge methods and equipment to the UK. The Centre has been a Lasik laser eye surgery provider for the longest in the UK. Miss Izadi has completed joint academic and clinical training in ophthalmology at St Paul's Eye Unit in Liverpool, The Oxford Eye Unit, and Moorfield's Eye Hospital London. She studied the Neurobiology of Vision while earning her Physiology degree and conducted research at the Institute of Ophthalmology in London. Professor Williamson has trained about 30 vitreoretinal fellows as part of a highly sought-after, international fellowship program at St Thomas' Hospital in London. Mr. Daya worked as the Director of Cornea and External Disease at the Catholic Medical Centre and had a clinic on Madison Avenue in New York after completing his studies there. He was appointed Director and Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon of the Queen Victoria Hospital NHS Trust's Corneo Plastic Unit and Eye Bank in 1993. The LASIK laser vision correction treatment was initially done by Mr. Daya in the UK in 1995, and he went on to become a well-known LASIK teacher. In 1996, Mr. Daya launched the Center for Sight, which has flourished tremendously under his direction and guidance to the point that it currently has three sites. In the fields of stem cell transplantation and tissue engineering, Mr. Daya has pioneered a variety of procedures. His methods and successes have been covered by the international press and made public on television as the surgeon who helped Katie Piper, a famous person who had been the target of an acid attack, regain her sight. Mr. Daya is frequently asked to speak at conferences across the world because of his experience in a range of fields, including LASIK, femtosecond laser cataract surgery, cornea, stem cell transplantation, and other refractive surgical procedures.
