Profile (Overview)
KAYALVARATH HOSPITAL is a well-known hospital in Southern Kerala that specialises in ayurvedic medicine and has decades of experience in the industry. Under the capable leadership of Vaidyakalanidhi V I Varghese Vaidyan, the hospital was established way back in 1929. Since its inception, the hospital has been a success. There was a provision for a team of doctors to visit the patient at home if IP was not available, so the treatment was wholly traditional and modern.

In 1951, Dr. Annamma George was born into the Mallapalli Modayil family. She is the child of Mrs. Mariyamma Eapen and Mr. A. I. Eapen. She received her formal education from Kottyam's Becker School before earning her degree from Kottayam Kurichi Homeo College. She earned her Dac: in acupuncture in 1986, and she currently oversees the department for homoeopathy and acupuncture. View Profile
In December 1950, Perinad Kayalvarath Melathil's home witnessed the birth of V.I. Varghese's youngest son. completed his education at Perumbavoor Ashram Higher Secondary School and obtained a pre-degree at Kollam Fathima Matha National College. He teamed up with his father to practise after earning the DAM degree from Kottakal Ayurvedic College. For his exceptional work in the ayurvedic medical field, he was given the V.K. Krishnan Menon award in 1998. The Mallapalli Modayil Family includes his wife, Dr. Annamma George. Doctor Varghese, his son Dr. Rachel Varghese, MBBS, MD, is K.
