Profile (Overview)
The Jordan University of Science and Technology was intended to be a Centre of excellence in the provision of high-quality healthcare services and to be a comprehensive referral Centre locally and at the level of the Middle East. This was the inspiration behind the idea of creating the Founding King Abdullah University Hospital. The hospital's designs and specifications were created to keep up with the rapid advancements in hospital construction technology. He created a structure with a main tower of fifteen floors, two low structures of three floors, a total area of 95583 square meters, a functional capacity of 678 beds, and the ability to accommodate 819 beds in an emergency.
