Profile (Overview)
Five hospitals make up the military medical complex known as King Hussein Medical City, which is located in Amman, Jordan. It is associated with the Jordanian Royal Medical Services (JMRS), an organisation of the Jordanian Armed Forces tasked with providing medical care and health protection to Jordanians in hospitals as well as to those in the security services, retired military personnel, and their families. JRMS has a significant network of hospitals throughout Jordan's several provinces. The King Hussein Medical Centre features five hospitals with a combined bed capacity of more than 900, as well as a regional laboratory study reference Centre. King Hussein Medical City's first main hospital, Al-Hussein Hospital, opened its doors in 1973. It is one of Jordan's busiest general hospitals, admitting 25,000 patients annually.
