Profile (Overview)
"Five hospitals make up the military medical complex known as King Hussein Medical City, which is located in Amman, Jordan. It is associated with the Jordanian Royal Medical Services (JMRS), an organisation of the Jordanian Armed Forces tasked with providing medical care and health protection to Jordanians in hospitals as well as to those in the security services, retired military personnel, and their families. JRMS has a significant network of hospitals throughout Jordan's several provinces. A 73-bed specialised hospital, the Prince Hussein Centre for Urology and Organ Transplant was established in 2000. The facility has the most up-to-date tools for treating kidney, ureter, and bladder problems. It provides non-invasive benign prostatic hyperplasia treatment as well as the newest erectile dysfunction and bladder physiology research instruments. The Jordan Society for Promoting Organ Transplantation is located there."
