She has worked in the field of infertility for 15 years; prior to that, she spent 6 years working in gynaecology. She has assisted in the birth of more than 10,000 children in India and the UK. Her research interests include minimal stimulation IVF and natural cycle IVF, which are both cost-effective IVF methods, as well as male infertility, women with poor ovarian reserves, endometriosis, recurrent IVF/implantation failure, and these topics. But Dr. Lakshmi is renowned for her expertise in treating patients with infertility issues, including polycystic ovarian syndrome and fibroids.
