Clin Asst Prof Chay Wen Yee

At the National Cancer Centre in Singapore, Dr. Chay Wen Yee is a Senior Consultant Medical Oncologist who specialises in breast and gynaecological cancers. She is also a clinical assistant professor in the department of medicine at the Singhealth Duke-NUS Oncology Academic Clinic Program and a visiting consultant at the KK Women and Children's Hospital's Department of Gynecological Oncology. Identifying biomarkers for mucinous ovarian cancer is one of Dr. Chay's key research focuses in gynaecological cancers. She participates in a number of investigator-initiated and industry-sponsored trials as a main investigator and a co-investigator. Her previous positions include Core Faculty for the Senior Residency Programme in Medical Oncology, faculty for the Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School, and clinical tutor for the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. She is passionate about education and is involved in both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. As the former co-chair of the National Cancer Centre Singapore's patient support group, Dr. Chay was involved in the design and coordination of a variety of patient support group activities.
