Dr Ang Cher Siang Peter

At Singapore's Mount Elizabeth and Gleneagles Hospitals, Dr. Peter Ang treats cancer patients. He worked as a senior consultant medical oncologist and the director of the Cancer Education Service at the National Cancer Centre in Singapore from 2004 till he went into private practise. In order to assist with the establishment of the cancer genetics service, which serves patients with breast, ovarian, and other gynaecological cancers, Dr. Ang also served as a visiting consultant at the KK Women's and Children's Hospital. In 2002, he served as the primary cancer expert for the National Cancer Centre and SingHealth cluster's breast cancer workgroup. Along with his group of medical professionals, he participated in the cluster breast cancer health management plan's implementation in 2013. In 2004, he served as the programme director for the SingHealth Cancer Service Development Line's Public Cancer Education initiative. He received the National Excellent Service Award (EXSA) for therapeutic work in 2005. He assists patients with a variety of malignancies, including lung cancer, stomach cancer, colorectal cancer, lymphoma, kidney cancer, breast cancer, ovary cancer, uterus cancer, and cervix cancer, by offering thorough oncology knowledge and first-rate care. In addition to cancer genetics, he has actively participated in clinical and translational research on breast, lung, and colorectal malignancies. His research has appeared in both national and international journals, such as Respiratory Medicine, Chest, the Lancet Oncology, the Journal of Clinical Oncology, and Seminars in Oncology. "Illustrative Cases in Breast Cancer," a book about breast cancer, was edited and primarily written by him. He gives frequent lectures both domestically and overseas.
