Dr Alistair Makin

In 1988, Dr. Alistair Makin graduated from the University of London. For his knowledge in gastroenterology and in particular for his endoscopic care of pancreatobiliary issues, Dr. Makin is highly regarded. At Manchester Royal Infirmary is where Dr. Makin's NHS practice is located. After completing training and research programs at many London hospitals, including Kings College Hospital and Harefield Hospital, he was appointed as a Consultant Gastroenterologist in 1998. The whole spectrum of diagnostic and therapeutic gastroenterological endoscopic procedures, including gastroscopy and endoscopic retrograde cholangio-pancreatography (ERCP), are all areas of expertise for Dr. Makin. At the specialized Liver and HPB Unit located at the Alexandra Hospital in Cheadle, Dr. Makin is one of the consultants.
