Dr Andrew Quoc Dutton

At Singapore's Mount Elizabeth Hospital, orthopaedic surgeon Dr. Andrew Quoc Dutton practises. He is particularly interested in stem cell therapies for orthopaedic cartilage regeneration, arthroscopic/keyhole, sports, and knee and hip replacements. Dr. Dutton was born and raised in Canberra before earning his medical degree from the University of New South Wales in Sydney. The Prince of Wales Hospital and St. George Hospital in Sydney were his next places of employment. At Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School in the USA, he finished his speciality orthopaedic surgery training. He has spent the last 17 years working in a clinical setting. Dr. Dutton worked as an assistant professor of orthopaedic surgery at the School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, and NUH before beginning his private practise. Additionally, he was the Fellowship Director for Sports Surgery at NUH as well as the Clinic's Founding Head. Dr. Dutton helped establish the Hip and Knee Joint Replacement Registry at NUH and established Singapore's first Sports Surgery Registry in an effort to enhance patient care. He has treated some of Singapore's top national athletes in sports like football, rugby, badminton, basketball, and netball while working with the Singapore Sports Council. During the Singapore 2010 Summer Youth Olympic Games, he served as an official doctor.
